In 2016, LeBlanc became the new host of the popular British TV show "Top Gear." His involvement with the program earned him many positive reviews and he was able to shed the image of "eternal Joey". However, LeBlanc stepped down from the show in 2019 to spend more time with his family.

Off camera, LeBlanc has a son from his previous marriage to actress Melissa McKnight. He enjoys a relatively private life and lives in California. He is also an avid motorsports fan and often uses his free time to race.

Due to his long involvement in the film industry, Matt LeBlanc has gained numerous fans all over the world. Be it through his role in "Friends" or through his later works, his acting versatility and charm have secured him a permanent place in people's hearts.
